Claims Handler Trainee
Our amazing client who have been established and successful for many years are looking for a Trainee Claims Handler to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate will be a highly organised professional, driven by customer service excellence and have a keen eye for detail. Essential Requirements:
- Previous customer service experience ideally
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Organised and motivated with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Proficient in using Word, Excel and other office software
- Experience in telephone customer service
As a Trainee Claims Handler, you will be responsible for processing and taking over the management of customer complaints, queries and enquiries both by telephone and letter. You will also carry out investigations, managing client correspondences and negotiating settlements on claims. In addition, the successful candidate will be experienced sales and account management, as well as providing administrative and operational support to both the claims and customer service teams.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Experience of working in an Office Environment
- Experience of providing excellent customer service
- Willing to learn
- 5 GCSE passes or equivalent (grades 4-9 / A-C), including English Language & Literature, and Mathematics
- A level qualifications, preferably in Maths, English or Business desired but not essential
