A well-established organisation within the utilities sector is seeking a Technical Team Support professional to join their growing operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised individual with strong administrative and coordination skills to support a busy technical and field-based environment.

The role focuses on maintaining accurate technical and metering data, supporting operational teams, and ensuring work activities are processed efficiently within agreed timescales. You will act as a key link between technical teams, field operatives, and internal stakeholders, helping to ensure daily operations run smoothly.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the technical team with incoming calls and operational queries
  • Monitoring and managing system queries and work requests (including Jira)
  • Raising meter work orders and maintaining accurate technical database records
  • Supporting field staff and assisting with remote fault investigations
  • Processing operational and industry workflows within agreed SLAs
  • Updating CRM records and customer portfolio statuses
  • Providing information and updates relating to technical queries, appointments, and visits
  • Reviewing allocated orders within agreed timescales
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and working methods

About You

  • Previous experience in an administrative or coordination role within a technical, utilities, engineering, or operational environment
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable using databases and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Experience using CRM or ticketing systems is advantageous
