A well-established organisation within the utilities sector is seeking a Technical Team Support professional to join their growing operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised individual with strong administrative and coordination skills to support a busy technical and field-based environment.
The role will focus on maintaining accurate technical and metering data, supporting operational teams, and ensuring work activities are processed efficiently and within agreed timescales. You will act as a key link between technical teams, field operatives, and internal stakeholders, helping to keep daily operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the technical team with incoming queries and daily operational tasks
- Monitoring and managing system queries and work requests
- Raising work orders and updating technical database records
- Supporting field staff and assisting with remote fault investigations
- Processing industry and operational workflows within SLAs
- Updating CRM records and customer portfolio statuses
- Providing information and updates relating to technical queries and appointments
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and working methods
About You
- Previous experience in an administrative or coordination role within a technical, utilities, or operational environment
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
- Comfortable using databases and MS Office applications, particularly Excel
- Experience working with ticketing or CRM systems is advantageous
