Our client is the leading media company to the global energy industry.  Their specialized publications and conferences reach over 300,000 people worldwide. They also provide market intelligence solutions to the international energy industry. They are a dynamic and growing company and this position is for a well-established brand. This role is offered on a hybrid basis with regular working in their office in Chancery Lane, London. Responsibilities:

  • Sell subscriptions to energy industry customers around the world, individual, groups and enterprise
  • Upsell existing subscribers to more comprehensive subscription products
  • Provide recommendations to customers for additional services to effectively hit their business goals leveraging the Company’s resources
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of both the Company’s suite of information solutions and our customers' specific needs in support of their ongoing usage
  • Measure usage and lead commercial renewal negotiations through proactive planning and communication
  • Work closely with marketing team to generate prospects

Required attributes:

  • 1 - 5 years of experience in subscription sales or other intangible technology sales is preferred, but willing to train candidates with similar sales experience
  • Curiosity to learn about new businesses and industries, and the ability to quickly grasp and make effective use of industry- and company-specific terminology
  • Experience and comfort working with multiple stakeholders across large organizations
  • Enthusiastic and energized by interaction with many different people.
  • Experience with CRM systems and Office Systems
