About the Role

As our Senior Microbiologist, you’ll oversee and lead a team of three microbiologists and technicians, ensuring the production of high-quality yeast products and laboratory excellence. From managing operations to implementing innovative lab methods, you’ll be at the heart of our microbiology success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the microbiology team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee yeast production processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance with quality standards.
  • Develop and implement new laboratory methods to enhance operations and product quality.
  • Maintain and manage HACCP plans and quality systems, ensuring full compliance.

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience in microbiology (yeast experience is highly desirable, brewing yeast is a bonus!).
  • A hands-on approach to laboratory work and problem-solving.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of HACCP principles and quality management systems.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
