Senior Lettings Negotiator

Hours:

Full time (40 hours pw) 5 days per week (incl. every other Saturday, with a day off in lieu the following week.)

 

Salary:

c£25,000 p.a. basic (OTE c£35,000)

 

Our client who are extremely well established are seeking an experienced Senior Lettings Negotiator to join their Dorking office.  You will have a strong track record and excellent communication and negotiating skills. The successful candidate should be able to work under pressure and, above all, to be driven and want to be part of a successful lettings department.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Answer and manage all telephone and email enquiries promptly and professionally
  • Fully register and qualify potential tenants, ensuring all necessary information is collected
  • Match available properties to suitable applicants and arrange viewings
  • Negotiate tenancy applications between landlords and tenants
  • Provide accurate viewing feedback and market updates to landlords
  • Create detailed and informative property descriptions
  • Take high-quality photographs of properties for marketing purposes
  • Collaborate closely with the Assistant Branch Manager on upcoming properties and market strategies
  • Liaise with administration and property management teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Monitor the local lettings market and competitors' properties to maintain competitive edge
  • Provide general support to the team across the department as needed
  • Manage front-end lettings responsibilities, including phone handling, enquiry management, and viewing arrangements
  • Keep marketed property landlords updated on feedback, marketing trends, and potential price adjustments
  • Assist in maintaining compliance within front-end lettings, including AML checks and document management
  • Work with the Assistant Branch Manager to focus on business growth and acquiring new landlords
  • Proactively seek opportunities for new properties across various branches
  • Support tenancy coordinators in ensuring smooth tenancy starts and assist as required
  • Assist the property management team with arranging and following up on property works, occasional inspections, and landlord communications

Experience with Reapit or similar estate agency package preferred. Driving license essential.
