Our lovely client in Leatherhead is seeking a Senior FP&A Accountant to joint heir finance function.  You will required to provide skilled financial and analytical resource within the company’s finance team. The right candidate will be recently ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified and looking to build on their experience within a growing company.

As well as delivering key commercial analysis you must be able to work with key stakeholders on strategic planning. As such it is expected that the successful applicant will already have solid experience of a business facing, highly analytical role.

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Skills/Experience    

 

  • •Work with CFO to enhance and improve the company’s budgeting process
  • •Monthly Cost of Sales and Overheads reporting including full overhead consolidation
  • •Develop Cost of Sales analysis and reporting within the business
  • •Enhance financial reporting using numerous different systems including Sage (being updated to DynamicsBusiness Central), PowerBI and Dynamics CRM
  • •Responsible for updating financial model (valuation model)with inputs from budgeting/forecasting process
  • •Represent finance across the business in cross departmental projects
  • •Responsibility for updating and maintaining departmental reporting Post investment appraisals – develop and manage framework for regular reporting and feedback of IRR analysis within the business
  • •Assist FC with year-end audit & ad-hoc accounts preparation
  • •Deliver monthly P&L reporting to budget holders
  • •Daily/weekly sales, margin and other KPI reporting
  • •Support senior management in understanding the drivers of historical performance across financial and non-financial metrics

 

  • Recently qualified ACA/CIMA 
  • Several years’ experience working in finance desirable
  • Previous analytical experience including advanced Excel skills
  • Able to interpret and present results to senior management
  • Sound accounting skills, including budgeting, planning, consolidations and reporting ideally gained in a multi company        environment. Self- starter able to problem solve and apply initiative
  • Ability to explain financial results to non-financial people
