Our wonderful client who are going from strength to strength and a leader in their field is seeking a Scheduler to join them.

They are looking for a motivated and organised Scheduling Coordinator to join our Scheduling team. In this role, you will be responsible for contacting our portfolio of commercial customers to arrange Smart Meter appointments, including meter exchanges, maintenance, and new connections.

You will work as part of a regional sub-team to efficiently schedule engineers’ workloads, ensuring appointments are arranged in line with operational requirements, travel considerations, engineer skill sets, and customer demand. This role plays a key part in delivering excellent customer service while meeting operational performance targets.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Handle high volumes of inbound and outbound customer queries relating to appointment bookings via telephone and email.
  • Respond to general customer enquiries in line with customer contracts and defined procedures.
  • Efficiently schedule appointments into engineers’ diaries while considering location, skill level, and operational priorities.
  • Arrange short-notice and emergency work, allocating tasks to the appropriate field operatives.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external organisations to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Work towards individual and team performance targets and KPIs.
  • Use initiative to resolve scheduling challenges and operational issues.
  • Ensure all scheduling activities meet service level commitments.
  • Build strong working relationships within your sub-team, the wider Scheduling team, and field engineers.
  • Contribute positively to team performance and continuous improvement.
