  • Salary £28-40k depending on experience
  • 4 days in the office and Fridays at home (after probation)

 

This is an opportunity for an organised and committed individual to join an award winning, employee-owned food. They are seeking a motivated individual to join their dynamic team in Reigate. The ideal candidate will live locally to Reigate and have prior work experience, and bring a proactive, “can do” attitude. You’ll be competent in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint, and enjoy working with data and producing reports.

 either the National Account Controller or Sales & Marketing Director, the role of Sales Support is a more internal facing role, taking responsibility for the day-to-day administration of retail and food service accounts. As Sales Support, in time you will be relied upon to become the expert on the accounts you are supporting on from a product, contract, stock and category perspective. Whilst the Sales Support role is a fundamental requirement within the commercial team, the opportunity for progression still exists for ambitious individuals who possess a desire to succeed and have proven their commitment to the business over a period of time. Responsibilities to include;

  • Managing contract balances and stock levels
  • Weekly sales reports and analysis
  • Working closely with Procurement on lead times and Operations through forecasting and delivery
  • Supporting the team with detailed administration of customer tenders
  • Benchmarking and sampling requests for customers
  • Project management of new product launches and new line forms
  • Regular retailer store visits
  • Working with the Category Insight Manager reporting on the latest developments and trends within the category
  • Supporting with commercial presentations

Qualifications

  • Degree / A level or equivalent

Experience

  • 1 – 2 years’ experience working in a commercial environment preferred
  • Preference for a food industry background although other FMCG will be considered
