Purchasing Coordinator

📍 Crawley, West Sussex
💰 £28,000 – £32,000 per annum (DOE) + Monthly Bonus

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven Purchasing Coordinator to join our busy team in Crawley. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment and building positive relationships with suppliers and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage stock levels through timely placement of purchase orders

  • Compare supplier quotations and identify opportunities for cost savings

  • Source and evaluate new suppliers where required

  • Maintain accurate purchasing records and reports

  • Prepare cost analysis and provide pricing/quotes to customers

  • Check supplier invoices and process for payment

  • Resolve supplier and customer queries by phone and email

  • Support colleagues across the purchasing and sales office

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to manage time and workload effectively

  • IT literate and comfortable working with systems

  • Team player with previous office experience

Desirable:

  • Previous purchasing experience (highly desirable)

  • Knowledge of import/export processes

  • Experience with Sage 200

  • Background in construction or working with tradespeople

Hours & Benefits

🕗 Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
