Purchasing Coordinator
📍 Crawley, West Sussex
💰 £28,000 – £32,000 per annum (DOE) + Monthly Bonus
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven Purchasing Coordinator to join our busy team in Crawley. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment and building positive relationships with suppliers and customers.
Key Responsibilities

Manage stock levels through timely placement of purchase orders

Compare supplier quotations and identify opportunities for cost savings

Source and evaluate new suppliers where required

Maintain accurate purchasing records and reports

Prepare cost analysis and provide pricing/quotes to customers

Check supplier invoices and process for payment

Resolve supplier and customer queries by phone and email

Support colleagues across the purchasing and sales office
What We’re Looking For
Essential:

Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

Confident communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to manage time and workload effectively

IT literate and comfortable working with systems

Team player with previous office experience
Desirable:

Previous purchasing experience (highly desirable)

Knowledge of import/export processes

Experience with Sage 200

Background in construction or working with tradespeople
Hours & Benefits
