Our lovely client in Dorking is seeking a Property Maintenance Coordinator to join their busy and friendly property management team to look after a portfolio of residential units. This role requires a car owner and driver.
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm and every third Saturday 9am - 1pm (with time off in lieu)
Main duties include:
- Day to day property maintenance issues
- Ensuring landlords, tenants, contractors and colleagues are fully aware of actions you have taken, programmes of work and progress
- Recording all accurate file notes on the property management system
- Invoice management and processing
- Obtaining competitive quotes on behalf of the landlord
- Manage the process relating to insurance claims
- Arranging gas safety certificates
- Arranging Property Inspections
- Deposit returns, negotiating between Landlord and Tenant to resolve any damages and liaising with tenancydeposit scheme where necessary
- Comply with lettings administrative procedures and all relevant legislation
- Provide exceptional client service
Skills required:
- Ideally previous experience in property management or something similar
- Excellent team worker
- Excellent IT skills
- Have the ability to multi task and work under pressure
- Attention to detail
- Well-presented and professional at all times
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A good sense of humour
