Our lovely client in Dorking is seeking a Property Maintenance Coordinator to join their busy and friendly property management team to look after a portfolio of residential units. This role requires a car owner and driver.

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm and every third Saturday 9am - 1pm (with time off in lieu)

Main duties include:

  • Day to day property maintenance issues
  • Ensuring landlords, tenants, contractors and colleagues are fully aware of actions you have taken, programmes of work and progress
  • Recording all accurate file notes on the property management system
  • Invoice management and processing
  • Obtaining competitive quotes on behalf of the landlord
  • Manage the process relating to insurance claims
  • Arranging gas safety certificates
  • Arranging Property Inspections
  • Deposit returns, negotiating between Landlord and Tenant to resolve any damages and liaising with tenancydeposit scheme where necessary
  • Comply with lettings administrative procedures and all relevant legislation
  • Provide exceptional client service

Skills required:

  • Ideally previous experience in property management or something similar
  • Excellent team worker
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Have the ability to multi task and work under pressure
  • Attention to detail
  • Well-presented and professional at all times
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • A good sense of humour
