Job description:
- Payroll Generalist
- Day to Day cover on payroll inbox and payroll enquiries
- Dealing with employee queries both written and verbal
- Compliance with starter and leavers paperwork ie starter checklist, P45’s
- Maternity process
- Paternity
- Jury Duty
- Calculating individuals’ holiday accrual
- Sickness management
- Support in the completion of requests for information from Government/Statutory bodies as they arise / National Statistic Surveys
- Sending out of P45s
- Sending out of Reference requests
- Filing and general office housekeeping/administrative duties for the payroll department
- Resolve basic PAYE queries with HMRC
- Ad hoc administration tasks where required management in payroll and HR
Desirable:
- At least 2 years’ experience in Payroll
- CIPHR
- Oracle
- PBS (Payroll Business Solutions)
- Advanced excel skills eg VLOOKUP
- Exposure to Journal entries
- Exposure to Control accounts for Reconciliation purposes
- Exposure to Pension platforms for monthly submissions (currently using Scottish Widows)
