Part-Time Accounts Assistant
Location: Surrey (Hybrid – Remote & Office-based)
Hours: 1 day per week (approx. 7–8 hours, flexible)
Hourly Rate: £15 per hour
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to manage financial operations and customer accounts. This part-time role combines accounting responsibilities with client engagement to ensure smooth financial processes and excellent client experience.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain Xero accounting system.

Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate financial records.

Oversee accounts receivable and monitor outstanding balances.

Chase overdue invoices professionally while maintaining positive client relationships.

Prepare monthly financial summaries.

Act as primary contact for customer account queries.

Schedule account management meetings and build strong client relationships.

Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing or account issues promptly.
Skills & Experience

Experience in accounting or finance administration (Xero preferred).

Knowledge of accounts receivable, invoicing, and reconciliations.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Able to work independently and manage time effectively.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and cloud-based tools.
