 Purpose                                                                                                                                              

 

Our lovely client in Horley is seeking a Technical Services Analyst to join their team.  The company offers hybrid working.  This role will be to provide first line technical support for the Operations team.

 

 Responsibilities & Accountabilities                                                                                     

 

Assist in maintaining quality standards, volume and timeliness of the team’s output through a high

standard of performance.

Support other team members with expert technical knowledge and advice.

Support all Operations application software, driving enhancements where appropriate

Liaise directly with mobile network operators and third-party comms providers on comms related migration issues

Produce regular in-house reporting on comms infrastructure

Support remote and manual data collection software, reporting bug fixes, enhancements to the Stark Development team where appropriate

Liaise with Operations Support and Development team to improve the software systems used Always ensure compliance with industry standards and procedures

Involved and perform user acceptance testing where appropriate

Help to promote a cheerful and productive work ethic within the team, modelling appropriate interaction.

Contribute ideas for improvement in quality, throughput and efficiency.

Liaise and communicate well with outside agents to develop our working relationships and promote positively.

Understand overall business objectives and work to achieving these. Proactively support Operations’ initiatives

Assist in the creation and maintenance of training materials, support documents and procedures. Participate in regular training/ learning activities to maintain and develop skills and knowledge.

 

Adhere to all policies, procedures and working practices.

Ensure the health and safety of yourself and others who may be affected by what you do; use work equipment provided safely and co-operate with managers to provide safe systems of work.

Any other reasonable duties as required.

Experience/Skills

 
 

 

 

Good listener; can understand the needs of customers and colleagues

Technical Skills & Knowledge

Intermediate knowledge of SQL (structured query language) and relational database design Familiar with database engines such as Oracle, SQL Server and Access.

Excellent knowledge of Excel including advance functions i.e. pivot tables, if statements, v-look ups, formulae etc.

Good problem-solving and analytical abilities
