We’re recruiting for a Trainee Policy Operations Technician to join a growing team in Dorking. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration and customer service skills who wants to develop specialist knowledge within the insurance sector.

You’ll receive full training and work closely with experienced colleagues while learning the processes and systems involved in the handling and administration of insurance policies.

The Role

You’ll support the day-to-day administration of insurance policies while delivering a professional and efficient service to customers, intermediaries and third parties.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Processing insurance policy administration accurately and efficiently
  • Managing new business, mid-term adjustments, renewals, cancellations and lapses
  • Responding to customer and intermediary enquiries via telephone, email and live chat
  • Handling incoming and outgoing calls professionally
  • Investigating and resolving policy and workflow queries
  • Supporting policy validation and operational administration processes
  • Managing your own workload to agreed deadlines and service standards
  • Working collaboratively across departments to ensure excellent customer outcomes
