Our client is looking for a Marketing Assistant to join their group marketing team. This is a brilliant opportunity to start your marketing journey in a supportive and caring environment, where you will be exposed to all aspects of marketing and work with great marketeers.

What are the main responsibilities?

• Collating content to support brand plans, new products, point of sale, promotions
• Monitoring and reporting on competitor activity and market trends, highlighting competitive threats and opportunities and making recommendations to brand managers
• Contributing to point of sale programmes designed to maximise new product and brand distribution and rate of sale
• Liaising with Digital Marketing Manager and supporting social media campaigns where appropriate
• Supporting launch of new products and promotions by creating effective sales literature
• Supplying product information and image data for the SKOO database and maintaining integrity of said data
• Co-ordinating and participating in exhibitions, conferences, product launches and project team meetings as required, this could involve some international travel on occasion.

What skills and experience are they looking for ?

• Qualifications in Marketing or Qualified by Experience
• A desire to have a career in the marketing arena and prepared to drive own development
• A creative and resourceful individual
• A hard working, team player who is resourceful and works effectively together or on own initiative
