Junior Supply Planner (Graduate Opportunity)

📍 Location: Reigate, Surrey
💼 Salary: £26,000 – £32,000 (depending on experience)
🏢 Hybrid Working: 1 day per week from home (post-probation)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Supply Planner to join a growing and fast-paced international business based in Reigate, Surrey.

This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build a career in procurement, supply planning, and global sourcing. Working closely with the Head of Procurement, you will gain hands-on exposure to supplier management, international logistics, and supply chain coordination.

The Role

As a Junior Supply Planner, you will support the procurement and supply planning team to ensure products are sourced effectively and delivered on time to meet customer demand.

You will be involved in supplier communication, order management, and logistics coordination while developing an understanding of global supply chain operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting product sourcing activities to ensure customer requirements are met in terms of quality, cost, and lead times

  • Assisting with supplier communication regarding pricing, product specifications, and delivery schedules

  • Maintaining accurate records within the order processing system and ensuring documentation is complete and traceable

  • Supporting the coordination of international shipments, imports, and logistics processes

  • Assisting with customer tenders and pricing data to support Sales and Marketing teams

  • Working closely with internal teams including Demand Planning, Sales, and Operations

  • Researching potential new suppliers to support supply chain resilience and cost efficiency

  • Developing an understanding of customer brands, product requirements, and service expectations

  • Supporting compliance with ethical, legal, and sustainability standards


About You

  • A recent graduate or someone with up to 1–2 years’ experience in procurement, supply planning, buying, or supply chain

  • A degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Economics, or a related discipline is desirable

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Commercially aware with a proactive, “can-do” attitude

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking

  • Confident using Excel and IT systems

  • Interest in global sourcing, logistics, and supply chain operations

  • Knowledge of international shipping or import processes is advantageous but not essential

  • French or Spanish language skills would be beneficial but are not required
