A leading Managed IT Services Provider working exclusively with the creative sector is seeking an experienced Solutions / Cyber Security Engineer to join their growing engineering team.
Supporting over 5,000 users across 100+ client environments, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership of cybersecurity solutions, work directly with clients, and play a key role in strengthening security posture across varied and modern infrastructures.
The Role
You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security solutions across client environments, acting as a senior technical escalation point and trusted security advisor.
Key responsibilities include:

Designing and deploying security solutions including firewalls, endpoint protection, and cloud security tools

Leading incident response, investigation, and remediation activities

Conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, recommending and implementing mitigations

Managing security monitoring and reporting, including SIEM and alerting platforms

Advising clients on cyber security best practices, policies, and compliance

Working closely with clients to understand risks and deliver pragmatic security solutions

Collaborating with wider engineering teams and mentoring junior staff
Technical Requirements

Strong hands-on experience with EDR/XDR platforms (Defender for Endpoint, SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, Sophos, Huntress or similar)

Experience with firewalls and network security (Palo Alto, Fortinet)

Knowledge of incident response, SIEM tools, and SOC-style workflows

Experience securing cloud environments (Azure and/or AWS)

Strong understanding of identity & access management (MFA, Conditional Access, privileged access)

Experience with vulnerability management, patching, and security hardening

Familiarity with Cyber Essentials / CE+, GDPR, ISO 27001 or similar frameworks

Proven ability to deliver client-facing security projects end-to-end

Package

Salary: £46,000 – £53,000 DOE

40-hour working week (Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm)

Hybrid working with work-from-home Fridays
