Driver / General Operative

Near Redhill, Surrey  |  £29,000  |  Mon–Thu 7:00am–5:00pm, Fri 7:00am–12:00pm

We're recruiting for a reliable, hands-on Driver / General Operative to join a close-knit team of around 50 permanent staff near Redhil/Horley, a genuinely collaborative company where people support each other and pitch in as a team.

This is a varied role combining driving with warehouse support: you'll be driving parts and products out to sites from the warehouse, and when you're not on the road, helping the warehouse team with getting deliveries ready, goods in, and other ad hoc tasks. It suits someone with a flexible attitude who's happy to get stuck in wherever they're needed.

What you'll be doing

• Driving parts and products from the warehouse out to sites
• Supporting the warehouse team with getting deliveries ready
• Assisting with goods in and other warehouse tasks when not driving
• Working as part of a close, collaborative team
• Occasionally staying away overnight (rare)

What we're looking for

• Full, clean driving licence (ideally)
• Comfortable working as part of a team
• Strong initiative and a positive, can-do attitude
• Physically fit and able to undertake manual work
• Flexibility to stay away overnight on rare occasions

Working hours

• Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 5:00pm
• Friday: 7:00am – 12:00pm
