Our fantastic client in Dorking, who offers a great working environment are seeking an Administrator to support the sales and customer support team.

You will be required to proactively ensure that the needs of existing customers are met and are provided with a friendly, professional, efficient service.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Providing administrative support to customers
  • Obtaining product information & pricing from various sources (i.e. specialist websites, distributors etc.)
  • Providing quotations to customers within agreed service levels
  • Processing sales & purchase orders on our accounting software program (Access Dimensions)
  • Chasing outstanding orders & keeping track of back orders/ETAs
  • Contracts & Projects Administration 
  • General administration duties (i.e. arranging shipping and couriers, managing company diaries, filing, dealing with returns etc.)
  • Basic accounting duties (i.e. processing recurring monthly invoices, posting supplier invoices etc.)


Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous accounts AND/OR admin preferable
  • Competent user of Microsoft Windows, Office and web use
  • A proactive team player that is adaptable to the diversity of the role
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
  • Strong organisation and administrative skills
  • Eager to accept new challenges and use their initiative in problem solving
